Summits & Forums

The ACS National HPV Vaccination Roundtable aims to educate and catalyze key audiences (health systems, providers, parents, payors, state coalitions & roundtables, public health partners) to increase HPV vaccination rates. In order to accomplish this, we collaborate with member organizations, partners, and experts to promote the most up to date HPV vaccination information.

We host events, summits, forums, and webinars to offer timely and relevant discussion on emerging issues regarding the prevention of HPV-related cancers.

HPV Vaccination Roundtable of the Southeast

Beginning in September 2022, select representatives of southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia) and Puerto Rico—where the rate of HPV vaccination coverage has historically been the lowest—united with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the American Cancer Society and the National HPV Vaccination Roundtable to discuss improving HPV vaccination in these regions to prevent HPV cancers.

By coming together, the southeastern roundtable will focus on:

– Current conditions surrounding HPV vaccination and HPV cancer prevention

– Replicating HPV vaccination success stories across the Southeast

– Overcoming challenges facing HPV vaccination

– Opportunities to improve HPV vaccination coverage in each state and the overall region

Together, we can change the story about HPV cancer prevention in the southeast.
