Webinar: In My Practice–A Conversation with a Family Practice

Dr. Savoy hosted guests from Ogden Clinic in Bountiful, Utah for a causal conversation on how they worked as a team to improve their HPV vaccination rates.  Hear helpful guidance from Dr. David Cope, a family physician, Unit Clerk Carrie Vandermeide, and MA Team Lead Cheryl Sullivan. Clinician & Systems Action Guides

The Clinician and System Action Guides are a suite of six booklets tailored to specific professional audiences. The guides communicate our collective guidance for health care providers, decision makers and support staff to implement key interventions and strategies to raise HPV vaccination rates. Content is the result of collaboration among top national thought leaders, practitioners and organizations. We believe health care professionals at every level can be part of preventing HPV cancers and pre-cancers. Released in Feb. 2018.

CME E-Learning Module: “Increasing Adolescent Immunization Coverage”

A 40 minute e-learning module for pediatric and primary care providers on HPV vaccination. Three providers—a pediatrician, an OB-GYN, and a head and neck surgeon—outline the importance of vaccinating 11- and 12-year olds. Module is available for a free CME hour/credit. Released in August 2017.

Protecting Your Patients from HPV-associated Cancer: What Providers Need to Know About Orophryngeal Cancers

This 11-minute video for health care providers illustrates the links between HPV and orophryngeal cancers, which are on the rise in the United States. Released in Jan 2017.
